finally got it. took delivery today and honestly I'm shaking a little

ok so I know I've been talking about this since November but it's actually real now

the BYD Dolphin is sitting in my driveway and I've already done three unnecessary loops around the block

first impressions in no particular order:

the sea blue colour is even better in person
seat heaters get warm embarrassingly fast
the "blade battery" logo on the back genuinely makes me feel like I'm in a sci-fi movie
my neighbour asked if it was a Hyundai. I said no. He looked confused.

charging it overnight for the first time right now. I'll report back with actual range numbers but right now I just needed to tell someone

this community was a big part of why I wasn't scared to pull the trigger so thank you all genuinely

I did the same thing with my Seal. Drove to Tim Hortons and back at 11pm just because I could. Congratulations!!
