quick positive update for people worried about parts availability
my Jolion PHEV had a cracked mirror glass on the driver side (parking garage. I don't want to talk about it.)
called my BYD/Haval dealer. they said: central parts depot has it in stock. 3-5 days estimated.
arrived in 2 business days. $87 for the glass. dealer installed it under paid labour, $45.
total: $132 and 3 days.
the "Chinese car parts are impossible to get" narrative is two years out of date. at least for Haval/BYD in Ontario
