Melbourne. Atto 3. 14 months in.
I've had to deal with BYD service twice:
- minor infotainment freeze that needed a software reflash — 2 week wait for appointment, done in 45 mins, works perfectly since
- the cabin air filter replacement — 10 minutes, they just did it, $35
both times the Hawthorn BYD service centre was professional and communicative. neither visit was the nightmare I'd braced for.
is this improving or was I just lucky? hearing mixed things from Sydney owners. Melbourne seems to have a better service situation.
genuinely want to know the range of experiences so I can calibrate my expectations for anything bigger that might come up.
