I'll start. things I wish someone had told me before my Omoda E5 purchase:
the regen paddles on the steering wheel are the best thing about EVs and nobody talks about them enough. I use them constantly now.
some charging networks require an account before you can pay. set up FLO and Electrify Canada accounts before you need them, not at a random charger at 11pm.
the range estimate is a range estimate, not a promise. it varies with temperature, speed, AC use, tyre pressure. treat it like the fuel gauge on a gas car (which is also not a promise, by the way).
your insurance broker may have never heard of your car model. call them early.
the first time you get a software update overnight it feels slightly magical and slightly alarming at the same time.
what else?
