okay mine: month 2 with the Dolphin.

pulled into a Petro-Canada. parked at one of the chargers. started plugging in the cable. realized the charger wasn't working. got frustrated. pulled the cable out.

then realized I had pulled into a GAS STATION and was trying to charge my EV at a gas pump.

there was a family in the car next to mine watching the whole thing.

I drove away without making eye contact.

drove 45 minutes to a Costco specifically because they have free Level 2 chargers. parked. plugged in. went shopping for 40 minutes. came back. car had not charged. the charger required a Costco-specific app I had not downloaded. car had been sitting unplugged the entire time.

told my dad the car was "basically free to run." he asked to take it for a fill-up. I explained, for 20 minutes, why there was no fill-up. he now asks me every time I see him if I've "filled it up lately."

charged the car at home all week. got in Friday morning for a road trip. realized I had never actually plugged it IN, just put the cable next to it. departed with 22% charge. the trip was an adventure.

stood next to a fully charged Electrify Canada station for 8 minutes trying to figure out why my car wasn't charging. it was because I had forgotten to actually insert the plug. I was just holding it near the car.

told a friend my Zeekr had "scissor doors" at a party. demonstrated. door opened normally. I had confused which car I was standing next to. it was a Toyota Camry. I am still recovering.
