slightly morbid question but genuinely important:

my uncle is very interested in a BYD Atto 3 but his main concern is: if he gets in a serious collision in Ottawa, can the car actually be repaired? are there trained collision repair shops? are parts available for body panels, bumpers etc.?

this is a legitimate concern that I haven't seen discussed. most Chinese EV conversations focus on maintenance and charging. but collision repair is a real scenario.

does anyone have actual experience with a Chinese EV collision repair in Canada?
