bought a BYD Atto 3 Extended Range last week.

what finally tipped me: the 15,000km check-in thread, the winter range numbers thread, and the 18-month MG ZS reliability report. real data from real owners. couldn't find that anywhere else.

also I drove 45 minutes to the Windermere BYD dealer for a test drive and the car was better than I expected. The delivery guy at Tim Hortons pointed at my car in the parking lot and gave me a thumbs up.

Edmonton has brutal winters. tracking everything carefully and will post range numbers in February as a data contribution.

Edmonton has good EV infrastructure compared to smaller Alberta cities. you're set up well. the BYD dealer out there has a solid service rep too from what I've heard

UPDATE 3 days in: charged it to 90% last night. $1.60 of electricity. drove 55km today. still at 78%. the math is insane. the truck people at work are asking questions.
